CHARACTER COUNTS! has extended the
deadline to March 10 for nominating someone as an
outstanding employee of character in Martin County.
CHARACTER COUNTS!, a program of
United Way of Martin County, invites employers and
colleagues to submit nominations for the annual
Outstanding Employee Pillar of Character Award.
Simply write a one-page letter
describing how your employee or co-worker demonstrates
one or more of the Six Pillars of Character --
Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness,
Caring or Citizenship. Then mail, e-mail or fax the
letter to:

The six winning employees will be
highlighted in the media and recognized at their
workplace. Winners receive a prize-filled gift basket
and a plaque. Prizes are sponsored by attorney David
Golden.
