United Way of Martin County has hired
Jennifer Jolly to fill the open position of director of
major gifts and planned giving.
She replaces Pat Daum, who departed
United Way earlier this year to pursue other interests.
Ms.
Jolly will be responsible for building relationships with
present and potential individual donors as well a serving as
director of the United Way of Martin County Foundation.
“To be a part of such an organization
-- one with a tradition of success in shaping the future of
Martin County by supporting the greater good -- is a dream
job for me,” Ms. Jolly said. “I cannot wait to get out there
and share ‘what matters’ about our Foundation, our Alexis de
Tocqueville Society and our programs with everyone in the
community.”
Ms. Jolly comes to United Way with
experience working with people and nonprofit organizations.
She formerly was the director of member
and public relations at Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club.
The residents of Harbour Ridge are strong supporters of
United Way – their community raised $241,000 for United Way
and its affiliated agencies in Martin and St. Lucie
counties.
Ms. Jolly also owned and operated
Web2You Inc., a Jupiter-based company that provided Internet
services branded and designed to raise funds specifically
for nonprofits. She sold the company in 2002.
“Jennifer will be an asset to the
United Way,” said Jim Vojcsik, executive director of United
Way of Martin County. “As director of major gifts, she will
be responsible for managing donor relations for the annual
campaign and the United Way of Martin County Foundation.”
