Disaster Preparation & Relief.

  • Prepares people to reduce the effects of disaster through community education and provides disaster relief to victims who have emergency needs such as food, clothing, shelter, furniture, and medical needs. 
  • Prepares a communication link between the local family and the serviceman when an emergency arises and to provide emergency financial assistance for transportation or other emergencies and provide emergency utility assistance for civilians to avoid power shut off. 
  • Provides regularly free blood pressure screens and forms for adults and maintains a history on each.

Transitional Living. Provides aftercare services for youth who age out of the foster care system on their 18th birthday. Young adults ages 18-23 receive case management services, life skills training and temporary housing in order to promote independence and prevent homelessness.
