HOW TO ENTER:
TO PARTICIPATE
in the United Way Step Up Challenge, with a chance to win a 50
CC Scooter or $2,000 in FREE Gas, individuals will maintain last
year’s gift to United Way or increase it to $1 per week ($52 per
year) suggested minimum donation, or begin giving to United Way
at this suggested level. To be entered to win, individuals must
complete and send their entry form and pledges/donations to
United Way before the deadline.
THE ENTRY AND
PLEDGE/DONATION FORMS must be received at the United Way office
prior to 4 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2009. You should complete and
return the entry and pledge forms to your company’s United Way
Employee Campaign Coordinator or mail to:

REGISTRATION/PLEDGE FORM may be completed per person.
WINNER
SELECTION:
Two winners
will be randomly drawn from the entries at the United Way of
Martin County office located at 50 Kindred Street, Suite #207,
Stuart, Florida, on Friday, March 13, 2009. The eligibility of
the two winners will be verified prior to the final award.
The two winners
will be selected and notified no later that 5:00 p.m. on March
25, 2009. The winners will be notified by telephone and/or
traceable method of mail service. The first entry selected and
verified will have their choice of prizes.
ELIGIBILITY:
TO BE ELIGIBLE,
all entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Employees and
immediate family members of the United Way of Martin County and
All the Wheel Toys are not eligible to participate. No donation
is necessary to enter or win. A no-contribution entry may be
obtained by written request only to United Way of Martin County,
50 Kindred St., Suite #207, Stuart, FL 34994, stating “no
contribution,” along with a business-size, self-addressed,
stamped return envelope. All entries must contain full legal
name, mailing address and phone number to be valid.
INSURANCE: The
Winner shall be responsible for providing scooter insurance.
INCOME TAX
DEDUCTION: Donors are encouraged to review the deductibility of
their contribution with their personal professional advisor.
WINNER’S TAX
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Winner is responsible for the payment of
any federal taxes that may apply. The Winner is also responsible
for the sales tax, registration, title and tag for the scooter.
MEDIA RELEASE:
Without further compensation, Finalists shall permit their names
and images to be used in promotions and advertising, and persons
attending the events shall be deemed to permit the reproduction
of their likenesses by means of photographs taken at such
events.
THE SPONSORS
are All the Wheel Toys and United Way of Martin County Inc. With
respect to all matters of eligibility and application of the
rules, United Way will be the final judge or arbitrator over any
disputes.
